The Race for the White House as I see it
This is how I see it The difference in :Obama and Clinton (besides the obvious, race, gender) is not very clear. They both "want" health care for "all" but haven't really come out on most issues..Exactly what is the difference in their "undocumented worker" and border issues? Both will fix the economy? How? One thing is clear, though.. no matter which one would happen to win, there will not be a great withdrawal of troops from Iraq next year. And there will be some troops left there "permanently". Hillary has said she would begin bringing troops "home" within months. Barrack has not been as clear, from what he has said about the subject. But.....will they come home? Doubtful, more probably they will be redeployed to Afghanistan. So it comes down to which one do you like? First female president? First African American president? On the other side, there is McCain, who wants to continue the "Bush Doctrine", (and yes, occupation of Iraq for decades) how scary is that? Economy in trouble, healthcare is priced way over our heads, We are one of the most hated countries in the world due to "the Bush Doctrine". Trading policies stink, and then there is the "undocumented worker delemna". As it stands there is only one other choice. Yep, Ralph Nader is running on the independent ticket. Now if he can only get into the debates, we might even get a chance to find out exactly what the candidates' true feelings are on the real topics. At least he says where he stands. On the Iraq war....its illegal and will end it in 6 months, On healthcare..a.real way to get it done, Economic and worker issues, the unfair trade practices, listen to what he has to say, and ask your candidate where they really stand on these issues. And how about that fellow he picked as vice president? Check out his ideas. So after the election is over how will you feel about your vote? Do you really know what your candidate stands for? Or will you find out after it is too late to change your vote? Comments welcomed, even if you are not a U.S. citizen, please leave your thoughts. thanks

Contributor's Note
I wrote this post after the choices for president dwindled to leftovers, meaning clinton, obama, McCain. I would love to see a Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich ticket for president. So I am left with the only sane option. Nader and Gonzales. At least check them out, and ask your candidate where they stand on these issues. thanks
